So I’m taking a quick break from makeup this week and want to talk about a new exfoliator I’ve been trying! After all, the best way to achieve a beautiful face of makeup is to make sure the skin underneath is taken care of! The product I’m referring to is the infamous St. Ives “Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub”.
I’ve seen this product around for a long time and I’ve heard such great things about it, I’m not sure why it took me so long to try it. I know I’m late on this train but better late than never, right?
According to the website, the St. Ives Apricot Scrub “deep cleans, instantly leaving skin smooth and glowing.” This product is sulfate, paraben and oil free, hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested. If you’re looking for a great exfoliator for an amazing price, I suggest this product. It’s less than $4 anywhere you go!
How to apply- Moisten your face with water, apply product on your fingertips, massage over your entire face, and rinse with water.
And let me tell you, a little bit goes a long way! This 6 ounce bottle is going to last me a while and I’ve already had it for about a month.
Not only does it smell wonderful, but it leaves my skin feeling extremely smooth. As soon as you wash it off, you can instantly feel a difference in your skin, it’s amazing! I’m a girl who has dry skin, so this really aids in removing any dry skin from my face and my lips.
Now, if dry skin isn’t your concern, St. Ives has a TON of facial care products in their line that cater to all kinds of skin types. They have a scrub that caters to blackheads, another one that cleans out your pores and stops breakouts before they occur, etc. So I guarantee they have a scrub that can meet your needs.
If you’ve tried any other kind of scrub from their brand, let me know! I’m interested in trying some of their other ones. Generally, if you guys have suggestions for other exoliators as well, drugstore or high end, please comment with suggestions below!
I know this was a short and sweet post (not to mention a bit late) but I’ll be back this weekend with a tutorial that I’m really excited about!
